Though they didn’t snag the title of Miss America, congrats are in order for 20-year-old Miss Oregon, Caroline McGowan, who is a Delta Gamma at Oregon State and for 22-year-old Miss California, Noelle Freeman, who is a Delta Gamma at Chapman University.

Good job on representing not only your state and your school, but also Delta Gamma!

Fun fact: An eagle perched inside of the delta with a talon resting on the gamma was an early symbol for Delta Gamma, but was discontinued in 1885.
